Do you need to wear the TRAM Safety Belt?

Yes. The safety belt (sometimes called a harness) forms an intricate part of the system; however it is very comfortable and easy to use. Can TRAM be used with a full body harness? Yes. Some organisations already use full body harnesses for other purposes and prefer not to introduce another style of belt/harness. When used with a full body harness, lanyards for the TRAM system can either be girth-hitched, or attached by a connector (e.g. karabiner), to side Ds on the harness.
